Beauty of Hanoi’s Madagascar almond road
Many people who travel along the Madagascar almond road section in Hanoi’s Long Bien District have been surprised at its beauty.
The road section links National Highway 5 and National Highway 1 leading to Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces.

Le Tuan Anh from Long Bien District said that he was impressed by the road which looks like something from Europe.
Lots of passers-by stopped to capture photos with the trees.
Madagascar almond trees have been grown on many streets in Hanoi, including Nguyen Khanh Toan, Nguyen Phong Sac and Tran Thai Tong.
The Madagascar almond has a height of between 10-20 metres. This tree has been grown in Hanoi over the past few years to replace red maples.
