Hanoi church changes “coat” for Christmas
Hanoi St. Joseph's Church is being decorated to welcome the coming Christmas holiday.
These days, the church area have attracted many people who come to enjoy the atmosphere and take photos.
A Christmas tree which is around 10 metres high has been placed in the main yard of the church.
The metal statue of Mother Mary has been decorated sophisticatedly.
Star-lighting has been hung on tree branches around the church.
The church often attracts many visitors for the Christmas occasion, with the majority being young people.
Many foreigners also come to the church to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.
Yen Linh, who is from HCM City, said that she flew to Hanoi to celebrate the Christmas holiday as she likes the cold weather in the northern region.
Lots of young people are rushing to the church to take photos early to avoid the congestion as Christmas is approaching.
