Reddish sea water seen in Ha Tinh
Reddish sea water has appeared along a three-kilometre beach in the central province of Ha Tinh.
The phenomenon can be seen at the beach in Cam Luong Commune in Cam Xuyen District over the past three days. This rarely occurs in the area and fishermen are quite concerned, being hesitant to fish near the shore. (Photo by Van Nguyen)

The coastal area of Thien Cam in Cam Xuyen saw reddish water streaks a year ago which was caused by algal blooming. It is likely a similar reason for the phenomenon at Cam Nhuong Beach this time, Binh added.
