“Mobile Advertising Network” wins 1st prize of Vietnam Talents Awards 2013

The first prize in the Vietnamese Talents Awards 2013 was presented to a product called “Mobile Advertising Network”, developed by Centech Communication Joint Stock Company.

The winners of the first prize of Vietnamese Talents Awards 2013 

The product allows advertisers to send messages to customers based on specific objectives. It will help developers of mobile devices in Vietnam to more easily use the advertising network, and more easily access potential customers.

The Vietnamese Talents Awards 2013 was held on November 20 evening, hailing Vietnam’s leading scientific, IT, environment, health and medical achievements.

The event was televised live, starting from 8:30pm from the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Cultural Palace. The live broadcast appeared on VTV2 and was streamed on Dantri online newspaper.

This is the 9th annual event of its kind, and honoured promising talents in the areas of applied sciences, IT and health and the newly-added the environmental category.

The application of mobile devices was added to the IT product category to reflect the increasing trend of using mobile products, particularly the popular use of smartphones.

The Vietnamese Talents Awards is jointly held by Dantri/DTiNews, Vietnam Television and Vietnam Posts and Communications Group (VNPT).

The organising board received a flower basket from Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

Attendees included former Party General Secretary, Le Kha Phieu, newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Vu Duc Dam, member of the Politburo and Chairman of the Vietnam Fartherland Front, Nguyen Thien Nhan, Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, Former Member of the Politburo and Former Chairman of the Vietnam Fartherland Front, Pham The Duyet along with many other delegates.

Achievements honoured

Two awards for achievements in the Environment Protection category:

Vinh Phuc Province’s Sci-tech Application Centre and Agricultural Development Encouragement Board of Ho Son Commune, Vinh Phuc Province’s Tam Dao District, won a prize for treating agricultural waste to protect the rural environment.

Meanwhile, the youth union of Nghia Trung Commune, Nghia Hung District, Nam Dinh Province was presented with a prize for classifying and dealing with organic waste to turn it into organic fertilizer.

One award given in the Applied Science category:

The award for this sector was given to associate professor, Ho Van Chin and his colleagues from the HCM City Institute of Resources Geography, for their work named “Studying natural conditions and resources in the Dong Thap Muoi between 1980 and 1987.”

One award given in the Health category:

This award was presented to Associate professor Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Minister of Health and Director of National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the work “Researching the application of advanced technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility in Vietnam.”

IT Awards:

The category of mobile service applications does not have the first and second prize, but two equal prizes and one third prize.

One of the equal prizes was given for a product developed by Ngo Huynh Ngoc Khanh, which is named “kROT -Wifi Robot – Robot". It is a robot installed with functions such as remote control via wifi, recording and filming as well as humidity survey.

Sharing this prize was VnSet, by Pham Nguyen Hai Au. VnSet is a multi-foundation application which can be used for all operating systems connected to internet. VnSet also works as a social network.

The third prize was awarded to a product called SnapNSee, a super-quick search software for smart phones.

The category of successful IT products also does not have a first, but has two equal prizes, one third prize and two second prizes:

The equal prizes were shared by the developers of online English study software called Tienganh123.com, and an online study app for mobile devices, AI - M – LEARNING by Artificial Intelligence Ltd. Co.

The third prize was given to the developers of solution for online sales, using cloud computing technology, Bizweb by DKT Technology JS Company

The second prizes were given to AMIS (All in one Management Information System) of MISA JS Company and and the product TrueLife of AVSC Software and Media Company.

With TrueLife, each organisation and enterprise would be able to set up a virtual office online.. From this office, they could create other representative offices for their units and projects and create a network of internal offices.

In the potential IT products category there was one first prize and two runners up:

The two runners-up were VNPT-Eimvoice of Vietnam Datacommunication Company (VDC) and TerraBook of group TERRABOOK. TerraBook is a system to produce digital content for children on mobile devices and educational applications.

The first prize was presented to Centech Communication Joint Stock Company for their product “Mobile Advertising Network”.
